Located in the heart of the Taï National Park, Djouroutou was the first-ever tourist site established. The Touraco Ecotel offers an on-site restaurant, and 10 cozy bungalows with modern bathroom facilities, accommodating up to 20 visitors. Recently renovated in 2012, the Touraco Ecotel now features solar-powered electricity, adding to the eco-friendly experience.
DAY 1: Djouroutou village
Arrival at Touraco Ecotel Djouroutou in the late afternoon. Dinner at the Ecotel terrace restaurant, then enjoy a peaceful evening in the lush tranquillity with a stunning forest view from the terrace.

DAY 2: Taï National Park
After breakfast at the Ecotel, transfer to the Taï National Park entrance. The forest walk to the chimpanzee camp takes around 2 hours. Embark on an afternoon hike to the peak of Mount Niénokoué, the sacred mountain of Patokola people, and relish in the breathtaking panoramic view of the rainforest canopy.
Meals: breakfast at Ecotel, lunch and dinner at the chimpanzee camp
Accommodation: Chimpanzee camp
DAY 3: Taï National Park
Rise at dawn and take a half-hour walk to the location where the chimpanzees nested the previous day.. Observe the critically endangered wild chimpanzees in the wild. Return to camp, then out of the park to enjoy the rest of the day relaxing at the Ecotel. Last evening in Djouroutou.

DAY 4 : Departure from Djouroutou
After a breakfast on the terrace of the Ecotel, departure from Djouroutou.
